Dancing the DNA

Yet to be considered in the growing body of knowledge concerning our hidden past are the ceremonial and ritual practices of the ancient peoples of this planet. Just as the ancients structured their architectural monuments in replication of constellations and the galaxy, so too the priests and priestesses devised symphonies of sacred music, smell, and group movement in emulation of the vibratory Life Force, i.e. the DNA. It is this reenactment that connects each and all participants into the energy of the universe. The same double helix found in Ancestral Puebloan petroglyphs and the three spirals observed from above at the Nabsca Lines in Peru, constitute the Lakota Sundance configuration and also many ancient Peruvian rituals. But we must view the the dance and ritual aerially rather than straight on horizontally. We must change our conceptions and bring together ancient knowledge and modern science.

It is from empirical knowledge, inquiry and participant observation that the writer can attest to the structure and impact of Dancing the DNA.

The Magnificence of Mandalas

Mother Nature provides the circle as a structural model for almost every aspect of life. Buddhists, Taoists, Native Americans, Sufis - indigenous peoples and spiritualists of all denominations around the world - use this circular structure in the form of a mandala for healing, finding balance and harmony and discovering their path to enlightenment.

In this workshop not only will you creatively design your own mandala, you will explore places within your own life that will help you in these changing times.

Plus you will leave the three hour workshop with your mandala in hand.
